If I could rate this vet 0 stars it wouldn’t be low enough. I took my dog for a hotspot that had been bothering my dog. Dr Price diagnosed the problem as a hotspot, even telling me the spot is smaller than i think because it’s covered by my dogs fur. After evaluating my dog, Dr Price wanted $800 for a bunch of unnecessary things to treat my dogs hotspot. And when I expressed that I didn’t want to pay for the unnecessary charges (shampoo, anesthesia, nail clippings, etc.) I was told by dr price that everything was required to treat my dog. He wants to add a ton of charges for something as simple as a hot spot. Dr price was rude, arrogant, and unsympathetic. He told me “I’m not a medical professional so I don’t know what my dog needs”. I left without getting any treatment because I Dr price told me I had to pay for everything if I wanted my dog to be treated. If you want to spend a fortune on unnecessary things for your pet, while being made to feel bad about not wanting to accept such outrageous charges, go to this vet. Otherwise, save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. I will never go back to this vet, and I’ll only ever advise AGAINST this vet. Dr price, you’re evil.

FOLLOW YOUR GUT First, long wait after appt time Bedside manner is very lacking. Dog goes without me into exam room. Took dog in for ear infection was diagnosed with several things that had me scared AND left ear infection. Something was off waayyyy off!! Took him to his regular vet for 2nd opinion 90% was misdiagnosed and my dog has a double ear infection not just left. Good news my dog is in excellent health and my anxiety can go away now. Follow your gut instinct always!!

Our family dog Oreo had seizure symptoms and had a appointment with this vet, we walked in with him in our arms unable to walk & the clinic staff were having a meeting, no one got up to check us in or even gave us their attention to say we’ll be right there. The finished their meeting & greeted us with no sense of urgency. You would think that their patient would be important & they were fully aware of the situation as we had talked to them beforehand. The doctor was very rude & basically told my mom that if she didn’t want to pay thousands of dollars to keep him to keep looking into the problem ( which he had no idea what it was) that she just didn’t care. The vet assistant or student found a simpler & less expensive solution and sent us home, turns out her solution had worked and Oreo was on his way to recovery. She was the only friendly person in that office that we encountered that day. Sadly Oreo passed away this NYE but I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone due to their lack of compassion and friendliness.

Dr. Price has taken wonderful care of my cat, and the staff is very helpful and kind. The clinic is clean and personable and I like that I'm supporting a small business. Dr. Price takes the time to explain everything to me and do a full exam at every visit; the staff makes sure I understand all of my options and costs so there are no surprises. With Covid there is more of a wait, but it's worth it to me and I understand there's only 1 vet and I'm not his only client and that they must be understaffed. Highly recommend.

Friendly paws is pretty good, the receptionist was nice and I really liked the vet tech she was amazing. Dr. Price could definitely work on his friendliness, I felt like I was just bothering him the whole time. I don’t like how they do the exam in a separate room from you and they call your cell phone while they’re one room away from you to go through the exam. It wasn’t that expensive. Dr. Price just needs to work on his people skills. He’s very knowledgeable and helpful though.

We had to have our beloved dog put down due to her declining health. The staff was extremely professional and sympathetic to our situation. My husband called several vet places and every single one except this one turned us down. This place told us to come in right away as soon as we told them the severity of the situation. I highly reccomend this place if you need a fast appt.

Dr. Price is condescending, extremely arrogant, very rude, will not let you finish a sentence and even if you did he would not listen to what you have to say. I was initially optimistic about this vet based on my first phone call but was very quickly proven wrong the second we started to interact with the doctor there. We brought our husky in to be neutered in order to prevent cancer and to be responsible given how there are several unfixed dogs in our neighborhood. From the beginning the doctor felt the need to tell us that fixing our dog would not change his behavior even though we never mentioned that that was our goal, he mentioned several times that we needed to train our dog but what was really funny is that the place he recommended is the place that our dog has already completed training through and we get told often how well trained our dog is. Dr. price felt the need to mention four different times that we just need to train a dog. He also seemed very quick to label our dog as aggressive Because he growled when he was brought into a small room without his owners and was handled by three people that he did not know in a space that he’s unfamiliar with, seems like pretty normal scared dog behavior. We were not even allowed to be in the room with him while our dog was examined, he spoke to us over the phone so I have no idea how thoroughly he actually looked at our dog. Not to mention the fact that we were quoted one price for the surgery on the phone and then told by the doctor a price that was over three times that initial amount. Found another vet and had the complete opposite experience, was told that our dog’s behavior was normal for his breed in the situation and they were extremely inclusive and willing to listen to what we had to say and work with us.

My experience with friendly paws is very positive. Dr. Price and his staff a very knowledgeable and care deeply for their furry patients. My dog Bruno was in very ill shape at the beginning of 2021 and he had gotten very sick during one of our trips to Texas. I was truly worried that he will not make it. Thank God for Dr. Price and his sound advice we where able to get Bruno back on his paws and he is doing well considering he had all kinds of problems. The recommendations we received from Dr. Price we appreciated and help us to make the decisions we made to help our Bruno to get better. Since our little boy is nearly 18 years old and still full of life thanks to Dr. price and his staff we whole heartly love and appreciate friendly paws for all their have done to get our Bruno back on his paws. About the cost, well yes it cost to get your pet the best care possible and we received the best care for our Bruno and we still do. Thank you Dr. Price for taking on Bruno and saving his life. For ever greatfull. Janet can be a little bit rough on the edges but she totally totally means well.

I have never seen a vet do as thorough of a check-up as Dr. Price. This is not my first cat, and this is far from my first vet office visit. My cat is 18 years old and the team at Friendly Paws was unlike any vet she's ever been to. Firstly, they put her at ease and used strategies that made her feel comfortable and willing to be examined. Over her lifetime, this cat has been aggressive towards strangers, but the vet tech was able to rub my cat's belly. Secondly, other vets would tell me my cat is old enough to skip the checkups and they suggested letting her be. Let her live out her days. Dr. Price and team checked my cat from head to toe (and to tail). For 18 years I've been told that some cats puke regularly and I'd have to just deal with it. Dr. Price was able to identify the cause of my cat's tummy troubles, plus point out some other health concerns I hadn't considered. Lastly, each step along the way, the team explained all the diagnostic and treatment options. The team answered all my questions and even offered extra help when we had trouble administering medicine at home. I highly recommend this office.

One star is too many stars for this place. Dr Price is extremely rude and disrespectful, All they care about is money. I will NEVER bring my pet here ever again.
