AdventHealth Waterford Lakes ER

My husband's care was exceptional from start to finish. The Admissions Clerk and the RT that took my Husband's Vital Signs were so cheerfully awesome, We did not wait long to be seen either. In the back, Melissa RN, Dr. Tobin, Kendall RN, Mary CT TECH and Darcy RN were all PHENOMENAL!!! They treated my husband with heartfelt compassion. The care that he received was thorough, super amazing and it was done in a very timely manner. We are grateful for every ounce of kindness displayed by this Healthcare Team today. Even the Registration Clerk and Security Guard were kind. They truly are Health Care Angels. May God bless them, their families and the entire Team. Salute🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟From The Thornton Family!!!!🥰

Was sent to the emergency room from urgent care due to a antibiotic resistant infection in my knee. Waterford Lakes emergency location was awesome! The staff were professional but warm and empathetic. Wait time was short to be seen. Every provider who came in the room explained who they were and what was being done. Then, when, I needed to be admitted I was transferred by ambulance to AdventHealth Winter park by the nicest young men. I highly recommend this ER…they will take great care of you?

This was my first time ever having to get stitches. I was scared to death of getting them to. The nurses n the Doctor all did a wonderful job helping me to not be scared and so nervous. They dod a great job taking care of me here and I'm so thankful and very appreciative of all their help. I was seen very quickly and taken care of promptly. Thank you for all your help n kindness. You guys rock!!❤🙏

I took my Mother In Law here this week for abdominal pain. I was permitted to stay with her, which was a comfort to both of us. Mask were mandatory for both us. This is one of the cleanest medical places I have ever seen! The staff is friendly as can be, including the security. We was In and out in under an hour. Plenty of parking and easy access from the road.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The facility was clean and comfortable. The receptionist immediately took care of me and I saw triage quickly. I was taken to my room, an actual room! Lol! Not a space divided by curtains! The room was spotless and even had a TV! The doctor, I believe his name was Dr. Harris was personable, funny and thorough. The nurse was friendly and thorough. The x-ray tech was also friendly. And the x-ray happened quickly. The only issue was a bit of a wait between the x-ray and receiving my knee brace and discharge papers. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you Adventhealth Waterford Lakes ER!

Dr Weagraff was the best doctor I have ever seen. My nurse Lenny cheered me up and was an incredible nurse. I never felt The I.V go in. . I went in for chest pins and everyone treated me wit dignity and respect. I'm happy I have this plastic in my community when myself or my family needs health care. God bless. Ron homer.

The E.R staff was amazing. I felt they did a great job. However, I got a call asking for payment when I was still admitted and tangled up with cables. I thought that was the rudest, most inappropriate thing they could have done. Patients walk in front of the billing window on their way out, they could have waited. I dont think that was the "Christian way" to act for a Christian based values hospital.

Overall I will give this Free Standing ER a 3 star. We understand ER’s can get busy but we were at the ER for 7 hours. My daughter only had a CT and an X-ray. We came in around 9 pm, saw the provider around 10. It took until 2 AM before the tests were done. Apparently after 11 pm, only 1 technician is doing all the radiology tests. Unacceptable.

The nurses attention was amazing, I took my 2 month old baby and they were so compassionate that it made a scary experience into a manageable one. I’m so thankful that’s something that you can’t teach and it was really appreciated

This place is usually good but lately the one PA there is a straight joke. I do not know where he got his degree from but he does minimal stuff to help patients. I get it is a ER but at least do your job especially with kids. Nothing got solved when I took my child there. Matter of fact his issues are still happening. Please Advent get better staff!
